Efua Colecraft - Treasurer

Efua Colecraft serves as Treasurer for Family First Advocacy, where she combines technical expertise and financial oversight with a deep commitment to community service. Her passion for this work is rooted in her love for families and children, as well as her desire to help families access the resources and support they need to thrive. As a single mother, Efua understands firsthand the importance of having a strong and dependable support system. She is grateful for the assistance she received while raising her own family and is proud to now serve in a role that allows her to provide that same encouragement and support to others. Her personal experiences continue to fuel her dedication to serving Hanover County and advocating for the unique needs of every family.

Efua holds a master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance and has an academic background that includes a minor in psychology. Her education allows her to bring valuable knowledge of data privacy, ethical governance, strategic oversight, family dynamics, and mental health advocacy to her role. Both personally and professionally, Efua is guided by integrity, empathy, and respect for others. Whether she is helping manage the organization’s financial health or connecting with families in the community, she strives to lead with transparency, listen without judgment, and uplift those around her.
